Jack Fenelli
Proposes to Mary Ryan
"I can't bear the thought of going on without you, Mary, ....
.....so, if this will make things right...
...this is what I want to do," Jack says, presenting Mary with a ring.
Nobody thought it would actually happen.  Everyone knew Johnny Ryan did not like Jack Fenelli.  Even Maeve Ryan had her doubts.  But when Mary Ryan puts her mind to something, it inevitably happens.

And what a glorious June wedding it turned out to be.

All the family and friends of the Ryans, and even some of Jack Fenelli's cronies, showed up at the church to witness the exchange of vows the happy couple made.

Even though Jack gave a few people a set of the jitters, wondering if he would show up, everything came off to perfection on the bright, sunny wedding day.
