Jack wants to know what Mary intends on getting out of working for Frank's campaign.  Mary tells him that she doesn't know what kind of career she wants, she's thinking about physical therapy, but she is helping Frank with the campaign because the Ryans support each other.  As they talk, they toss a ball back and forth.  Mary throws a long shot and Jack falls into the river.  They take a cab to Jack's apartment.  Mary claims she didn't throw the ball long on purpose and teases him about the lengths he will go to in order to get a girl to his apartment.
