An opening night post-show reception for
Tea at Five was held on Tuesday, January 18, 2005 in the M&T Bank Pavilion
at the France-Merrick Performing Arts Center in Baltimore. This reception
was a benefit for CENTERSTAGE’s
artistic and education programs. This special engagement of Tea at Five
was presented by the Lombardo Organization and Roger Alan Gindi in a unique
collaboration with CENTERSTAGE, which had been hired to promote the show’s
Baltimore run. |
“Even though she’s best known
for her work in television and film, Kate has always had a strong commitment
to the live theater,” explains producer and playwright Matthew Lombardo,
“particularly to those regional theaters who produce their own work. She
started this play at Hartford Stage Company in Connecticut, and is interested
in helping to promote local producing theaters wherever she can. While
we’re thrilled to be performing at The Hippodrome, when we knew we were
coming to Baltimore, we also knew we wanted to work with CENTERSTAGE.” |
